ICCS Staff

Claire is a versatile business and program leader with three decades of experience spanning science, business operations, and policy across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. As Director of Strategic Program Development at ICCS, she leads the development and execution of the organization's strategic direction, having designed ICCS' regional strategies and consolidated them into a single global strategy. She also leads ICCS' Regulatory Acceptance Priority Teams.

Prior to joining ICCS, she led global ingredient compliance and regulatory functions at a multinational cosmetics company through a period of significant organizational change. Earlier, she took on an underperforming global program engaging cosmetics brands and their supply chains and completely redesigned it, strengthening the commercial case for adopting alternatives to animal testing across the industry.

Her background spans biomedical and animal science, cosmetics, regulatory affairs, and education, including developing and leading a university module on animal welfare and law.
