ICCS announces that Erin Hill, President & CEO, has submitted her resignation, which has been accepted effective immediately.
Erin has played an important role in ICCS’ early development and in advancing the global transition toward animal-free safety assessment. Over more than 30 years, her work has helped strengthen credible science, trusted institutions, and regulatory pathways for New Approach Methodologies. At ICCS, she helped guide the organization from its early formation into a recognized platform for animal-free safety assessments.
“On behalf of ICCS, I want to thank Erin for her contributions to the organization and to the field,” said Stéphane Dhalluin, Chair of ICCS. “Her leadership helped establish ICCS as an important international forum for collaboration on animal-free safety assessments. We wish Erin the very best in her next chapter.”
Recently ICCS updated its operating structure, and it is seeing strong momentum through its Steering Committee, Priority Teams, and Activity Teams. This is a natural inflection point for the Board to reflect on the leadership needed for the organization’s next stage.
ICCS remains focused on its mission and well positioned to continue advancing regulatory-ready, animal-free safety assessments and the broader global adoption of human and environmental approaches.
