Internal Exposure: Development of an Internal Threshold of Toxicological Concern (iTTC)
Objective
Internal Thresholds of Toxicological Concern (iTTC) (i.e., TTCs based on internal exposure measured as the chemical concentration in plasma), is a necessary part of the next generation safety Assessment framework. This project will support the final aspects associated with the development of the iTTC concept which has been a multi-stakeholder collaboration. This will include:
- Final QCing of the existing PK data
- Analysis of existing PK data to estimate PK parameters
- PBPK modeling for the iTTC chemicals
- Assess model performance
- Assist in the analysis to plot the cumulative distribution of internal exposures across iTTC chemicals and identification of iTTC threshold limits
