ICCS 2026 Symposium

The Shift to Animal-free Safety Assessment is no Longer Theoretical

On June 15, ICCS convened a half-day symposium dedicated to advancing the global transition to animal-free assessments. More than 125 leaders from industry, regulatory agencies, and NGOs will gather in Brussels for “a fully subscribed” event focused on accelerating progress and impact.

Together, participants will explore implementation pathways, capacity-building priorities, and emerging science that can help shape the future of animal-free innovation.

Opening: Stéphane Dhalluin, PhD, DABT, Board Chair

"When ICCS was founded several years ago, it was built on the belief that meaningful progress in safety assessment would require more than scientific innovation alone. It would require dialogue, partnership, and a willingness to work across traditional boundaries."
— Stéphane Dhalluin, PhD, DABT, ICCS Board Chair
